The fresh leaves are toxic.
It is a plant originating in Central and eastern Asia, especially from China.
Indications: Used in cases of asthenia, liver disorders, bile, and in order to regulate intestinal functions, constipation, gingivitis.
Medicinal properties: stimulating, digestive and laxative, toning, purging.
Toxicology: cannot be administered during menstruation, nor to pregnant women and not during breastfeeding.
